We just wanted to let everyone know that we have a lot of different Monarch 1131 labels in stock.  Blank colored labels include florescent red, green, orange, pink as well as white and yellow.  We are seeing the Monarch 1131 04 become popular choice for date and time coding items.  We have brought in Sell By and Use By labels to keep up with the demand we are seeing for dating perishables.  The 01 standard numeric band layout continues to be the most popular option for this tool.  The build quality of Monarch Paxar products such as the Monarch 1131 are outstanding.  It is this reliability and easy to use features that keep customers happy with the product.

Garvey has brought a new labeling gun to market to compete with the Monarch 1110. The Garvey 1910 offers users a much easier way to load the pricing labels. The signature “drop in loading” that Garvey price guns are known for is fast and easy to learn. The 1910 can use Monarch labels (Monarch 1110 price labels), or Garvey price labels. The label prints out vertically, just like the Monarch price gun. In our experience with the tool so far, we must say it looks very good. The quality of pricing print is excellent, price label loading is faster, and the changing of the ink roller is simple and not messy. The Garvey price gun has a nice, sturdy feel in the hand. Loading the Primark pricing gun takes just a few steps that will take very little time to master. You first want to start by tearing off about 12 labels from the roll. This will insure that any adhesive on the outside of the roll will not jam up the tool in anyway. Open the back of the gun and place the roll of Primark price labels so that the core sits on the hub and the price labels feed off the bottom of the roll. Remember to always hold the gun at a slight angle when the back is open as to not have the label roll fall out. Next, open the front base plate by pressing on the two black knobs. Feed the Primark P-14 labels through the gun until labels start coming out the front of the tool. Next, close the roll holder on the back of the gun. Pull the labels over the open base plate until there are about four inches worth hanging over the base plate. Then, close the open base plate by pushing it back up until you feel the click. Next, peel the Primark labels off the backing paper. Now hold the gun with the base plate facing toward you and insert the backing paper into the slot right above the P-14 marking. Insert the paper until you feel resistance and start clicking the hand trigger. The feed wheel should start to grab and tighten the paper.
